DESIGN WITH CAD/CAM SOFTWARE

Being able to design and produce all the kind of pieces, from the simplest to the most elaborated ones, Lusorochas is truly oriented to manufacturing special pieces and projects with a high level of detail. For the production of this type of pieces the design department works with the technical drawings of the client or creates its own technical drawings with AutoCad/AutoDesk/Inventor software.

From here is possible to simulate the production of the piece, detect and correct errors and adjust details even before the piece be produced. At this level the execution is so accurate that even the smallest details can be reviewed and readjusted. This allows a great creative liberty as well as a real garantee during the production process. 
In Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) computer software is used to create detailed, precise instructions for the machinery. Both software and machinery use numerical control (CNC) applications that include precise measurements. As a result, the manufacturing process can be repeated over and over to the exact same specifications. Such precision is impossible to achieve with handheld or hand-controlled tools. This precision results in a higher quality and uniformity of parts and goods. 

CAD - Computer Aided Design

Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) is commonly linked to Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems. The resulting integrated CAD/CAM system the takes the computer-generated design and feeds it directly into the manufacturing system. The design is then converted into multiple computer-controlled processes, such as drilling or turning. 

 
Ease of customization

One advantage of CAM is that it canbe used to facilitate customization - the process of creating small batches of products that are custom-designed to suit particular customers. Without CAM and the CAD process that preceeds it, customization would be a time-consuming, labor-intensive and costly process. Computer software, however, allows for easy customization and rapid design changes. The automatic controls of the CAM system make it possible to adjust the machinery automatically for each order.

Companies are able to respond to changing customer desires with high variety, high quality, low cost and with very fast throughput times. Also, information management becomes much simpler and more accurate.
